The goal of Forum is to support and promote aspiring designers at the stage of starting to build a professional career in light industry, establishing contacts with consumers, buyers and manufacturers, and providing the manufacturing sector with young personnel.
The competition selection is conducted in the format of online voting by the Experts. During the exposition of young designers' projects in the exhibition space of the "Fashion Industry" exhibition and demonstration of the works of the Forum finalists on the podium, the experts and the Public Jury select the winners of the "Generation NEXT" Contest.
Goal of Forum is to create, within the framework of the professional exhibition «Fashion Industry», a platform for the creative realization of creative youth, promoting aspiring designers and specialists at the stage of creating their own brands and at the beginning of building a professional career.
Competitive selection of participants on the online platform. Uploading materials (up to 10 images, including a photo of the author, a brief resume, identification of the educational institution and teacher-supervisor, links to videos, social network pages is required) until August 22. The jury vote takes place over 10 days.
The organizing committee sums up the results and announces the finalists of the Competition on September 1.
All participants receive electronic diplomas. All finalists receive paper diplomas.
At the preparatory stage, the organizing committee holds online meetings with the finalists to coordinate the program and the work of stage 2.
The Competition stand at the «Fashion Industry» exhibition is a creative environment and a joint exhibition of textile, costume and graphic designers. Showroom and business platform for master classes and presentations.
The best works are presented at the stand. The works of all finalists are shown on the screen.
The targeted nomination is carried out by the Competition organizer at the request of the manufacturing enterprise and is aimed at identifying young specialists who are ready to work with the enterprise’s assortment.
The target nomination is announced by the enterprise and carried out by the Competition organizing committee within the framework of the seasonal session (November-March / April-October) in accordance with the Regulations on the Competition and the Target Nomination Agreement.
Young specialists and students of Russian and foreign universities, colleges and professional training (retraining) schools aged 16 to 35 years old who have submitted applications in accordance with the deadlines established by the organizing committee are allowed to participate in the competitive selection.
The participant has the right to submit a project in any direction, including one project in several directions and (or) one project in different nominations. To register in different directions and nominations, you must submit separate applications.
The selection of works for the Competition exposition is carried out by independent experts. The organizing committee reserves the right to transfer the project to another nomination.
The Competition is held at a special site of the International Exhibition «Fashion Industry». The final includes a general exposition of projects and the Competition program.
Participation in the final exhibition of the Competition is free. All participants in the final exhibition present their works and participate in the installation of the stand on the eve of the opening day of the exhibition.
Dismantling of the stand: at the end of the Competition on the last day of the exhibition from 15.00 to 16.00, participants independently dismantle and remove their exhibits.
