The exhibition will host the 3rd Forum of Creative Youth and the "Generation NEXT" competition for young designers. The Forum aims to support and promote emerging designers at the beginning of their professional careers in the light industry, establishing contacts with consumers, buyers, and manufacturers. This fall, the competition once again generated excitement among young professionals: experts reviewed 258 applications in the Textile, Costume, and Graphic Design categories. The finalists include students and graduates from more than 20 major Russian universities, secondary vocational schools, and other educational institutions in Russia and the Republic of Belarus.
The finalists, selected by the competition experts, will gather from October 23-26, 2025, at the Fashion Industry exhibition site during the III Forum of Creative Youth and will create a unified space at the Generation NEXT Young Designers Competition stand. The awards ceremony for the competition winners will take place on October 26.

Results of the International Forum of Young Designers and the Final of the Generation NEXT 2024 Competition
On 17-20 October 2024 at the International Exhibition of Fashion Industry in Expoforum (St. Petersburg) there was held the Forum of Young Designers and the final of the International Competition ‘Generation NEXT’. 407 applications were submitted from students and graduates of 20 educational institutions of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
The competition stand presented 86 projects of textile, costume and graphic designers. 70 finalists had the opportunity to participate in the business programme: to listen to lectures, seminars and master classes of experts, to learn the opinion of consumers about their works within the framework of the Public Jury voting.
